Elizabeth Barr is the founder of EverKind Companions, a service dedicated to ensuring that older adults and individuals with mobility or health challenges can fully experience life’s most meaningful celebrations. 

As an experienced Occupational Therapist and Care Manager, Liz brings a rare blend of clinical expertise, compassion, and practical problem-solving to every event she supports.

Liz specializes in wedding and event accessibility consulting, helping families navigate accommodations, mobility needs, sensory considerations, and safe transportation planning. 

On the day of the event, she provides on-site companion support, ensuring each client feels included, comfortable, and cared for—while easing stress for families and planners.

With over two decades of experience in aging, palliative care, and family support, Liz created EverKind Companions to bring dignity, joy, and belonging back into special occasions. 

Her mission is simple:
